Soul Folk artist Lola Parks sings with an honesty that inspires her audience to dig deeper and share a genuine connection. Parks describes 2022 singles "You Are Light (Lynne's Song),” a tribute to Parks’ mama, "It'll Be All Right," on overdose and suicide, and “Never Alone” as "Somber yet hopeful, carrying on with resilience and acceptance.”
2020 album No Apologies features singles, “Dreamer” and 2x ISC semi-finalist “Freight Train.” “No Apologies encourages us to own all of who we are, stand strong in our roots and our right to be,” explains Parks. “The songs speak to forgiveness, standing up to power and celebrating where we come from.”
She’s created a fiercely independent musical history: 5 continents. A 40-song One Stop catalogue.
