details
Bio - Classically trained composer with a focus on bass and keys/piano.
Influeces - I have gone through a huge amount of musical growth. Originally, my focus was on industrial music and industrial/electro, EBM. Also was focused on Black Metal, and Aggro German techno-metal (still enjoy listening to this). However, I am a huge jazz head and funk fan, with a love for Tower of Power, Coltrane, Miles Davis, Larry Graham, Prince, Charles Mingus, Marcus Miller, Wooten, Pino Palladino, Esperanza Spalding, and about a thousand others. On the acid jazz and electro side, I LOVE St. Germaine, Dimitri in Paris, Robert Miles (Roberto milani), Jazzanova, Clara Hill, and many more.
I tend to get along well with others that have a reverence for all music, and can get outside of themselves to appreciate a wider variety of tones and ideas. Not into elitism or noodling if I can avoid it!
Goal: A part-time, somewhat serious original project. Hopefully an organic power trio with Bass/Drums/Guitar, or Bass/double-manual Keys/Synth/Drums, or Bass/"Insert third instrument here"/drums. Hoping to meet others who are unafraid of playing dancable real music, and would love to get back into real gigging again with something totally fresh and original.
No interest in cover bands. I respect cover music, but have no desire.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
