Released in North America on Rounder Records, People Gonna Talk has already received support from public radio, talk shows like Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and Starbucks, where it is being sold. The sexy grooves of James Hunter’s R ‘n’ B-influenced soul may not follow any current trends, but the timelessness of his sound creates frenzies amidst hardened gig-goers and young hipsters alike.
