SKETCH NUDES, LISTEN TO CLASSICAL, EAT TACOS
Have you ever thought, "Why can't I go to my local bar not ONLY to drink beer and eat saucy Mexican food, but also to sketch (or shyly glance at) modern nudes in various poses...whilst listening to dramatic classical music by the greats?"
If you have thought this, good! But this happens in the last place you ever thought it would...The Astoria, at
769 E. Hastings. It's like a mixture of the going to the symphony + the Number 5 Orange. Just kidding. It's nothing like that.
The last Get Nude went swimmingly (wish we could post photos, butt...) however, NEXT GET NUDE will offer audience members the chance to get nude themselves. Willing participants need only drop their name + desired classical composer in a box located at the front door for the chance to get nude, classy style + win prizes (TBA!!!).
Audience members are also welcome to bring their favorite classical music requests. They are also welcome to show their art onstage, or to other sketchers after each model has finished. But hey, we're not going to act like your art teacher and force you to do it.

Models start at 6:30, sketching/painting til 10:30. 20 minute sharing + interlude between each model.
