CALLING ALL SALSA DANCERS IN GREATER VICTORIA!!!

We are delighted to bring you our first LIVE SALSA SUNDAYS in the heart of downtown Victoria!

This show takes place on the final night of the Tango Festival and we're very excited to be closing the weekend with a big Cuban SALSA BANG! The good news is that Monday August 5th is BC Day so hopefully most of you won't be working the next day!

Doors Open 7:30pm

Pablo Cardenas Latin Combo from 9pm

Ever since their first Hermann’s Jazz Club performance in 2012, this band has been lighting things up. Playing Pablo Luis Cardenas’ arrangements of Afro-Cuban rhythms woven together with Brazilian Sambas and classical songs with deep jazz roots, they are sure to have you on your feet! Originally from Cuba and now residing in Victoria, classically-trained pianist/arranger Cardenas has such skill and charisma on the stage that he simultaneously intrigues and entertains his audience. Pablo Cardenas [piano], Peter Dowse bass, Kelby MacNayr [drums/percussion], Hector Ramos [congas], Noedy Hechavarria Duharte [saxophone] & Rafael Duvergel Channers [vocals].
