The Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra presents a lecture-performance by Ali Razmy, a composer-performer who specializes in the modes and musical traditions of the Middle East. Learn how he teaches non-Western modes and improvisational techniques to musicians trained in the European/North American classical tradition. Live musical demonstrations provided!
