Entertaining Possibilities - Downtown Eastside Studio Society fundraiser featuring performances by The Corporate Raiders and Jackie Treehorn: Live Bands, Live Auction, Lives Changed.
Join the Downtown Eastside Studio Society for an evening of music and art at their inaugural fundraiser to benefit people facing social barriers such as homelessness, addiction and mental illness. The Society runs writing workshops in supportive housing, substance abuse treatment facilities and community centers, printing books of clients’ work to encourage self-reliance, expression and empowerment. The evening will also include a live art auction will featuring work by Anne Gaze, Richard Tetrault and David Boswell.
