Champion:
Made up of Montreal music scene veteran Maxim Morin and his band the G-Strings, Champion’s unique concoction of rockin’ guitars, techno beats, incredible vocals and contagious melodies has impressed audiences around the globe. Having performed at various festivals, Champion keep it up in 2007, playing at SXSW before headlining the Exclaim! Spring Fling tour and recording their second album. With a track record like that, don’t miss this opportunity to catch Champion’s universal beats and rhythms for yourself.
Malajube:
Bursting on to the national scene in 2006 with the release of their catchy hook-driven sophomore album Trompe-l’Oeil and its subsequent nomination for the prestigious Polaris Prize, this Montreal pop-rock quintet aren’t stopping anytime soon. Playful, chaotic, and totally rockin’ – Malajube are ready to blow you away!
You Say Party! We Say Die!
Vancouver’s dance-punk savants You Say Party! We Say Die! believe in doin’ it to death and they’re spreading their gospel on dance floors all across the country. Lauded for their infectious frenetic energy, YSP!WSD! will show the other bands on the tour that the West knows how to do it right.
