Four-venue fundraiser for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society features performances by Shiftkit, Noetic, and the Burn Project (at the Purple Onion); Varin and Vibrator (at the Piccadilly Pub); Cyanotic, Joykamp, and Insipid (at Richard's on Richards); and the Flairs and Perfect Strangers (at the Green Room). Oct. 10, doors at 7 pm for Richard's, 8 pm for Purple Onion, and 8:30 pm for Piccadilly Pub and Green Room. Info 604-340-7268, www.food4music.com/.
