. Saturday, Jan 13th IMU presents TWIST & SHOUT Beatles Tribute w/ Cinderpop & The Orchid Highway @ The RAILWAY CLUB, 579 Dunsmuir Street . Doors 8:30pm / $10

TWIST & SHOUT (formerly The FAKE BEATLES) captures the sights and sounds of the Beatles live throughout their history. Songs range from their early pop music hits to the later psychedelic days, complete with costume changes. Good old fashioned, edgy, in your face Rock 'n' Roll, just like they were live at the Cavern or BBC... don't miss this Fab evening! http://myspace.com/twistandshoutband

CINDERPOP play inventive, harmony-drenched, guitar-driven power pop. Featuring alumni of Moev, SK Robot, The Salteens and others, their eclectic sound combines free-floating vocals with dreamy melodies and pulsing guitars to great effect.
