Music Industry Travel Assistance Program (MITAP)
MITAP is a travel funding program administered on behalf of the province, by Music BC.
1) MITAP ARTIST TOUR/SHOWCASE TRAVEL SUPPORT provides assistance to recording artists to participate in performance, and showcasing initiatives that are undertaken in support of recordings. This MITAP program is specifically for bands/artists who are seeking travel assistance money for tours or showcases.
2) MITAP BUSINESS TRAVEL SUPPORT provides assistance to BC based music businesses to participate in conferences in order to support BC recording artists.
This program is for BC based music industry organizations and businesses who are seeking travel assistance money to attend conferences in order to support BC recording artists.
