They hit the stage with an onslaught of greasy guitar riffs, leering vocals, a battery of heavy-duty drums and eye-poppin go-go shakin. This fast paced, Montreal, rock n’ roll trio showcase their dirty attitude and mean guitar rock, putting on a show with edge-of-your-seat stage presence that’ll make you wanna get up and stomp to the rock n’ roll, punkabilly sound.
Reminiscent of the sounds that gave birth to the leaner, meaner side of rock n’ roll, Bloodshot Bill and the Hubcap’s edgy, high-octane stage show has quickly become a mainstay of the music scene across Quebec and Ontario and left fans in the U.S. wanting more. After tantalizing listeners with several homespun recordings, they have now released a much-anticipated professional recording entitled ‘your title here’.
The group has been featured at events such as the Pop Montreal 2002 festival, Kansas City’s Greaserama and the Fluff Girl Burlesque Revue (co-hosts) as well as hosting their own events such as Bloodstock and the Bloodshot BBQs. They have also been a favourite to share the stage with, for acts such as The Sadies (including New Years Eve), Bob Log III, Tav Falco, El Vez, Danko Jones, The Black Halos, The Crazy Rhythm Daddies, The Knoxville Girls, The Silver Hearts , Cooper Thompson, Ray Condo, The Woggles, The Spitfires and Schlonk.
