Event Detail: Expected to following much the same route as in 2015 with more participants... ...Shaughnessy Street to Elgin Avenue, Elgin Avenue to Mary Hill Street, Mary Hill Street to Hawthorne Avenue ending on Tyner Street 11am - 1pm (approx); pre-parade performance by Vancouver Police Motorcycle Drill Team at 10:35am. Excitement and fun for the whole family. Over 100 parade entries including music, marching bands, floats, and many laughs. Please note that streets in the downtown area will be closed to vehicle traffic from 9am to 2pm. (Shaughnessy Street from Lions Way to Pitt River Road; Mary Hill Road from Elgin Avenue to Hawthorne Avenue.) Parade goers are advised to park outside the road closure/parade route area to avoid being detained after the parade. Free parking is available at the West Coast Express Station, Port Coquitlam Recreation Complex and at Lions Park. There will be alternatives to getting around Port Coquitlam during this time.
