[email protected] I liked their new cd, I didn't find it weird though... - Wed, 4 Jun 2003 11:50pm
Anonymous I've heard the single, and it hasn't quite grown on me...

That doesn't mean i don't like it. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 1:59am
ho hum i really like it. what's the single? i like "anthems for a seventeen-year-old girl" and "stars and sons" best so far. it's unique in its variety certainly- it goes all over the place, like it was ten different bands. that's brave and cool. - Thu, 5 Jun 2003 3:29am

are we talking about "you forgot it in people"?

in my opinion, this is one of the most meticulously produced albums of this year. the horn sections and noise tracks are stunning. the bands comprehension of the grooves involved in making each track is far beyond their years. the drums aren't ALWAYS playing 4/4 time; a welcome and fresh change.

broken social scene, although i dislike their choice in a band name, have created a piece of truly listenable material.

with their provacative lyrics and tasteful rythms & melodies, BSS are on the forefront of a new wave of music, music that is finally diverging from the sea of easy listening. their music is challenging for some listeners.. but for those with open ears, the music is a welcome change. - Sun, 22 Jun 2003 1:16am
