| wretchederin User Info... | Punk rock band The Rebel Spell is seeking a bass player. We are a tight family and we tour tons so we will be spending a lot of time together on the road. We need a skilled musician but also somebody who identifies with our values and can stand behind our lyrics. Ideally the person we are looking for is: Passionate about social justice and contributing to the community. Racism, sexism & homophobia are deal breakers. Vegan/Vegetarian--we love animals and healthy living. Has diverse taste in underground music (oh sweet baby Jesus please don't send us a Lars Frederickson and the Bastards fan). Has a strong DIY work ethic. There's a lot more work involved than just playing bass. Has a driver's license and can drive. No criminal record or other issues that would keep you from crossing the border. Won't trouble us with booze or drug issues. We like to party with the best of 'em but don't need someone we have to babysit, apologize for or clean up after. We have a brand spankin new album that will be released any second now, so you need to be ready to tour your ass off.
