This isn't a review, I just wanted to say they were awesome. They did 2 sets and the first set they launched into some really interesting, eraticly-charged time sigs that were just right up my alley as a fan.
I kept meeting other people who had that crazed look in their eye they were so stoked to be out seeing them and one guy said that this lineup had been together for maybe 5-6 years, and that with (monstrous!) dual drummers, that means something. And I'd already been up front checking out the gear on stage, even though I honestly don't know a thing about that stuff. Respect. (& MASS posing) Best show of the year for me last time I saw them.
They blew us away. & what a truly brilliant guitar player he is!
People who don't normally look at each other were blowing their cool all over the place after that set. Nice crowd.

I just remembered one guy saying he was all bummed that they had NO merch... at a sold out show... apparently the HST complications screwed us again. - Wed, 7 Jul 2010 1:45pm Edited: Wed, 7 Jul 2010 1:46pm
