4WARD™ is a heavy metal solo project formed by guitar shredder,composer, multi-instrumentalist,producer,recording engineer Ken Krazyfingers that ready to rock the music scene and take the world by storm. Forging a solid foundation in hard rock and metal,Ken has crafted a original sound that combines irresistible rhythms, powerful vocals, infections bass grooves, pounding drum beats and of course shredding screaming guitar solos. Ken Krazyfingers of 4WARD is a 25 years over eperienced Guitar Shredder, Multi-Instrumentalist, Recording Artist,Producer endorsed by New York based guitar pick-ups & guitar parts company Guitarheads. His vast background in the music industry includes highlights such as, opening for rock legends such as Foreigner and Grand Funk Railroad and sharing stage with many up coming Canadian rock artist's. 2012 was a hired gun for a western Canadian tour for theatrical heavy metal act THOR. Working as a session player at the multy million recording facility The Vancouver Film School as developed a wide knowledge skills in the recording area, as well as being a long time private guitar instructor he had the honor of teaching a summer music camp for kids. He also composed played all instuments,produced and engineered the Ep for ROCK HARD & Co., a side music project he took part in early 2013. With 24 songs some on radio's & digitally distributed on iTunes, Tuncore, Reverbnation and a multitude of other well known digital download sites, with this it has open his fan base far and wide. His main focus these days is to record 6 new instrumental songs for the release of the new 4WARD album coming out in January 2015, all while working on music for a UK based upcoming blockbuster Horror Film.
Although he can play bass and other instruments, the electric guitar is, and will always be, his true calling. Ken discovered his talent at the age of 6, when his mother got him his first guitar, which he'd never put down aside since then. Little did he or anyone else know, his passion for music would launch him into a life long career in music.
In 1996 Ken attended Cambrian College where he acquired classical training and structured skills . While being a rocker at heart, his classical background mixed with his free spirited shredding techniques allowed him to blend everything from Blues to Metal, creating his own 'Shredtastic' style, which would eventually become recognized. Fast forward to 2004, in Kelowna, when Ken started hosting Open Jam Nights at The Greatful Fed. His amazing talent and undeniable skills brought him various gigs here and there which made him known as a the Guitarded Shredder in the local music scene. And the Krazyfingers name was born! From there, Krazyfingers moved his vision to Vancouver to pursue his passion with greater exposure. A simple Craig's List add, which he'd posted in search of a vocalist to collaborate on his project, brought him talented vocalist Tyler Nickerson together and 4WARD was officially started.
Throughout the years, Krazyfingers played in various Canadian venues, collaborated with local to upcoming artists and shared his music with many and moving 4WARD into greater success, also with hope of finding like-minded futur permanent 4WARD band members. But they came... and they went. Not for lack of trying, but mostly just due to the fact that we dont always share the same vision, therefore they moved onward as Krazyfingers moved 4WARD. Therefore, it is truely amazing to see Krazyfingers keep his 4WARD project, his vision, his dream alive for so long on his own constantly evolving. That being said, Krazyfingers knows he wouldn't be where he is today without the love of music and his music FAN'S support! m/*-*m/
