Event Description

Don�t miss the Victoria appearance of one of Sooke�s best kept secrets, the Sooke Philharmonic.

The Orchestra is proud to feature guest soloist Nancy Washeim, soprano, in a performance of Mozart�s Exsultate Jubilate.

Specializing in Early Music, Ms. Washeim has appeared in Canada and abroad with numerous orchestras and ensembles, including the McGill Baroque Orchestra, the St. Lawrence Choir, the McGill Symphony Orchestra, the Regina Symphony Orchestra, The London Bach Festival, and Brock University�s Chamber Music Series. Her performances have been broadcast by Radio Canada among others.

The programme also includes Mozart's Symphony No. 35, "Haffner," Schubert's Rosamunde Overture, and the Schubert Unfinished Symphony.
