Event Archive - WHITE LIGHT WEDNESDAYS @ THE ASTORIA: Screaming Queens, lunch lady, BUSHTIT

Wed. March 20th 2013 The Astoria (No Minors)
9pm - 1am doors at 9pm

White Light Presents: Shrieking sirens summon you to the dirty bar East of Main. The stage will be adorned by wonderful women scorned, and displaying their wrath under spotlight. Audience participation and moderate consumption of inebrient's is advised.

Be worried by the sounds of:

Play all the glam rock, grunge, and heavy rockers you can want from a trio of beauties. They're an embodiment of anti-oppressive gender supportive politics contained within a riotous 3 minute except.

Three girls tell you all the gossip you never got to hear in the smoke pit. They've got the best stories about puberty and bad relationships you never asked to hear. And they'll encourage you to sing along to any parts you like.

A high energy five piece psyche jam rock collective. Girls who are wanting to have fun. They're named like a bird, even if they can't imitate it's squawks, shrieks, and mating calls.
