EVIL ROY SLADE was a mainstay in the Vancouver music scene during the 1990s, playing regular gigs at local fixtures like the Starfish Room, Town Pump, Commodore, Hungry Eye and The Gate. With two CDs and two cross-Canada tours under their belts, the band played the Lollapalooza '95 side stage as well as shows with the likes of 54-40, Archers Of Load, 13 Engines, DDT and Salvador Dream. After a 10-year hiatus, Evil Roy Slade returns to play the Railway Club with a set that celebrates their decade-long catalogue.

The HUTCHISON EFFECT - Heart-pounding grooves and soulful attacks facilitate a truly entertaining experience that's intense and crazed, yet melodic and smooth at the same time. Dedicated to the continuing creation of new, original music worthy of production, as well as the downfall of dubstep, The Hutchison Effect implores you to listen to them, so that they will feel good about themselves.

GOLD STARS ARE FOR SUCKERS - Featuring former members of Waltz Darling and The Town Pants, the Gold Stars met in a local rehearsal space for an impromptu jam session where the music started to formulate and flow at a rapid pace. Their music is fresh and vibrant through exploration of diverse influences including Pixies, The Ramones and The Damned.
