Tall Tree Music Festival III
The essential summer experience returns to Port Renfrew

It’s been three years, so now it’s going to be three days: the Tall Tree Music Festival III returns to Brown’s Mountain overlooking scenic Port Renfrew for the essential summer experience: a three day music festival from Thursday, June 21–Sunday, June 24.

The Radio Contact Production team has pulled out all the stops for this year’s event, which features more than 65 performers and acclaimed artists from across the province. Mark Farina, Sweatshop Union, Kyprios and the Chaperones, The Pack AD, Mat the Alien, and Moka Only will make their Tall Tree debuts this year, while artists like Longwalkshortdock, Vince Vaccaro, Kuba Oms, Quoia, Neon Steve, DJ Nigel, and Steph Macpherson return to rock the festival once again.

But it’s not just about the music—Tall Tree is also about cultivating the essential summer experience—and this year Radio Contact is bringing in local businesses like Moksha Yoga, who are providing a free yoga class on the Saturday morning of the festival. There will also be a trading post on Saturday afternoon, art by local artists, more mini-events TBA, and as always the usual awesome surprises courtesy of Radio Contact Founder, CEO, and Chessmaster Max Power, who once wrestled a bear in Siberia.

Radio Contact believes in sustainability and supporting community, and this year all proceeds from the festival will go to the Tall Tree Festival Society to help support local charitable organizations.

Port Renfrew is stunning in the summer. Max Power and Radio Contact Productions would love to see you there.

While exploring his love for the purist fo... more info

Sweatshop Union

With tens of thousands of albums sold worldwide and hundreds of show rocked, the word of mouth is spreading about Sweatshop Union’s style of conscious lyrics, highly musical beats, and high energy live shows that far surpass the average hip hop concert. The Pack A.D. (Garage Rock)

Destruction and melody, acid wit and bruising vocals-this is the Pack A.D. Singer/guitarist Becky Black and drummer Maya Miller have made a sound so gigantic, so fierce and raw and empowering, that it's easy to forget there are just two people behind this brilliant, carefully constructed havoc. Shredding and pounding their way through every song, t... more info

Kyprios and the Chaperones (Hip Hop/Soul/R&B/Funk)

The classic definition of the term MC is one that has the ability to grip a mic and control the crowd, and Kyprios has more than earned this title. He is a commanding presence on stage – able to hold the crowd in silent rapture as he drops an introspective piece that draws heavily from spoken word, only to suddenly flip it and incite a sea of thr... more info

Kuba Oms (Soul Pop)

KUBA OMS BIO The time is now for Kuba Oms, the Canadian singer who mines 70s-era soul, funk and rock n’ roll on his solo debut, How Much Time, to be released Sept. 29th on Digniti/Warner.
