Head of the Herd:

We're making modern blues with a hell of an edge. The art of telling stories, of expressing emotion, of speaking with rhythm and register, has been a need of humanity since the very beginning. Without storytelling we have silence. Head of the Herd is opposite that silence – the music and sound of our lives.

Mike Edel:

With his debut The Last Of Our Mountains, Edel has learned that home, love and youthfulness are neither innocent nor simple. Born in rural Alberta, his youth was spent between rocky mountains and vast wheat fields. These landscapes shaped the album; a sharp and urgent collection of 8 songs that give way to the adventurous, compassionate and delicate.

Call Me the Wind

Call Me The Wind is a duo whose lush harmonies and thoughtful musicality echo the inherent beauty and spirit of the Canadian West Coast. Since 2009, Lydia Hol and Devin Miller have been creating a sincere and undeniably beautiful sound that invites audience members to escape into the hopeful and elegant music that is Call Me The Wind.
