In a musical era with so many diverse musical styles, countless bands devote themselves to just one genre of music. With lyrics inspired from the pure feeling of cold hatred, as well as the catchy and fast melodic death riffs used by bands such as Soilwork and Arch Enemy, Paroxyzm assembles its own deadly mixture of melodic death metal. Paroxyzm introduces distinguished themes such as tribal annihilation through metaphors and portray the ox as their primary symbol of death by the human race, but also of one's true endurance when dealing with the venom of others. Influences include Soilwork, InFlames, Arch Enemy, Slipknot, Carcass, Disgorge, Thorazine, The Haunted, Nevermore, just to name a few. We are also proud to say we support those bands, by buying records and going to shows. True metal is an art, and art cannot be bought nor taught; however, art can be passed on as inspiration. This is the beauty of heavy metal in our own minds. Heavy metal (in any form) is art. When "Decay", Paroxyzm's debut self-released album comes out, a new form of melodic death metal will be cast upon the world.
