Hey guys, what's up?!

My name is Felipe, I'm 25 yo Drummer and I'm from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In some time soon I'm gonna move to Vancity, and I am really interested on getting into the music (mostly ROCK) scene right away when I land there.

I have played in bands here since I started playing, around 8 to 9 years ago, and pretty much all of them were serious projects. And that's what I look for when I get there.
I can list a few influences of mine, but I have SO MANY things that I listen to, I like things like... Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, Silverchair, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, Sevendust, Incubus, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, The Subways, The Hellacopters, Lostprophets, Guns N' Roses, Black Sabath...
I better not list everything cause' there are so many things (haha). I love both OLD and NEW stuff, I have no prejudice about music, if I like what I hear I can listen, doesn't matter if it's rock or not, but rock is what I like the most.

I would like to start know a little bit about the rock scene there, as I didn't get the chance to know it well when I was there last time. Maybe know some people or make some friends?!

Would be great if someone could answer me and maybe we can talk about music, rock and stuff!
