Vancouver’s Tango Paradiso is one of Canada’s leading tango ensembles. The band adroitly combines traditional tango, Nuevo tango (the style created by the great Astor Piazolla) and elements of new music and jazz. The resulting music is exciting and vibrant and captures the drama of a musical form that originated in the bordellos and bars of Argentina.
