No one can accuse Bob Schneider of not challenging himself. From his days fronting rock band Joe Rockhead to the more jam-oriented Ugly Americans to co-founding the more aggressive Scabs, Bob has followed his muse in various and entertaining outfits. But it's as a solo singer/songwriter that he has met with the most success, both creative and commercial.

His three albums of Americana blend funk, country, folk and rock in songs about lost love, drug addiction and alienation. He has been compared to both Bruce Springsteen and Beck, proving that the Austin musician has a foot in both singer/songwriter camps--the traditional and the post-modern. His latest album, I'm Good Now, was acclaimed as one of the best of 2004; constant touring and a charismatic stage presence have brought thousands of new fans into the fold, and made Bob a Vancouver favourite.
