Join us for a night of music from around the globe, featuring Celtic Fiddle, Flamenco, Electro-Cumbia, and more as we celebrate the diversity of our city! Let the the celtic tunes of award winning duo Mark Sullivan and Andy Hillhouse take you away. Then sip a glass of vino or a cocktail and get transported to Spain with Toque Flamenco, one of Vancouver's finest flamenco ensembles. DJ Su Commandante will be spinning Electro-Cumbia and world beats between sets.
Mark Sullivan is at the forefront of the Canadian fiddle scene. He continues to be in high demand as a spirited performer and instructor across North America. His latest and ninth album, The Gathering Room, is a collection of purely original tunes. Though the music is steeped in the Canadian tradition, the tunes reflect an array of influences. Whether it’s Irish, Scottish, Gypsy, Western Swing, or Cajun, Mark Sullivan is making music that effortlessly takes his listeners on a musical journey of fiddle styles. With Andy Hillhouse on Guitar.

He has opened for acts such as K-OS, Wyclef Jean of the Fugees, Yellowman, Kinnie Starr, Kytami, Native Guns, Canary Sing, Gabriel Teodros, Alpha Yaya Diallo, Kevin Finseth, the Boom Booms, Mindil Beach Markets, The Harpoonist & The Axe Murderrer, Long Beach Shortbus, Rodney Decroo, The Furios and Fishbone. He has also been featured at events such as Groovefest, Skafest and YoFest in Victoria along with Diwali and Under the Volcano in Vancouver, and hosted a radio show of underground hip hop for 5 years at CFUV radio in Victoria
