The Barc Project is proud to present BANNED IN Canada 4, an ongoing battle of the band series at the Media Club from Dec. 2nd – Jan. 8th. The goal of this competition is to give independent and unknown artists an opportunity to perform, gain exposure and win cash and prizes.

Previous winners have been:
BANNED in Canada 1 – A Steady Vertigo
BANNED in Canada 2 – Divided Loyalties
BANNED in Canada 3 – Keep it Secret

BANNED in Canada 4 will run for 5 weeks starting Dec. 2. Every Thursday night (excluding December 23rd), four bands will compete for the highest score. Scoring will be based on Audience Participation, Audience Enthusiasm, Stage Presence, Composition, Performance, and Originality. The band with the highest score card at the end of the night will advance to the finals Saturday Jan. 8th!

The final showdown will occur on the 5th week, when the 4 finalists go head to head in a good old sweaty musical play off! The finalist with the highest score card will be awarded the Cash Pot and prizes donated from local sponsors.
