Event Archive - celtic roots musical brawl: Town Pants, Shanneygannock

Thu. November 3rd 2011 Railway Club (No Minors)
8 PM
$8 at the door only.
A bi-coastal celtic roots musical brawl hits the venerable stage of the Railway as Vancouvers own fave celt roots rock rebels The Town Pants return for an all-too-rare Railway performance. Kicking off the night is Newfoundlands Shanneygannock who are on a cross Canadian tour. It’s Salmon meets Cod, Whiskey meets Screech, and a 3-car banjo, mandolin, fiddle & button accordion pile up you won't want to miss as two of the most acclaimed celt-roots acts in Canada meet for a barnburning showdown. Outstanding.
