Sally Snow:
Stephan Vien (Sally Snow) has won the affection of crowds from all over Canada with his blend of Folk/Punk/Rock. The "Searching for Slumber" EP, Vien's latest effort has received rave reviews. It made way for a video for the albums 3rd track "Conscience" and more recently a video for the albums 2nd track "How Low". The song "How Low" has also made it as one of the top 25 ringtones of all time on, with over 100,000 downloads - how cool is that!

The Oh Wells:
Having heard the buzz about the Oh Wells via the music grapevine and in CiTR's Disorder magazine, this is a local band that has generated a healthy amount of press in a short space of time. An indie folk-pop group showcasing the songwriting talents of pianist Sarah Jickling, their quirky love songs and EP titled "The EP that we love" have drawn comparisons to Tegan and Sara among others. The band has garnered some high profile local press by winning first place in CiTR's Shindig.
High Five After Sex
Taylor Squires and Jon Thibault met as roommates at the Burnaby Mini-Mansion in the summer of 2008. Taylor hails from Prince Edward Island where he played in Tumbleweed and Fugato. Jon is from Toronto where he played in a myriad of unheralded bands. High 5 After Sex was formed in January 2009 with a rhythm-first compositional approach, using only material generated through collaborative jamming.
