Come celebrate the debut solo Sparks/EMI CD release by Morgan Cameron Ross of Birds Of Wales this evening with special guests The Racket, Quickeness & The Post War! Lead single 'Let It Go' features Daniel Wesley on backing vocals and recently hit the MuchMoreMusic top 10.

MORGAN CAMERON ROSS - After years of fronting his band Birds of Wales, Vancouver-born Morgan Cameron Ross decided to start a solo project and returned to BC to record some demos. The songs that came out of those sessions with producer Jon Anderson rang true to Morgan's more authentic rootsy side rather than the polished pop production of the 2010 Birds Of Wales CD "Belgravia Hotel". His brand new self-titled solo debut is everything that he wanted it to be, made on his own terms and timeline with guest appearances by Dan Mangan, Holly McNarland and Daniel Wesley.

THE RACKET is a a four-piece Vancouver-based band with male and female harmony vocals and a big sound. Playing alt indie rock with a pop flair, they write, produce, mix and master their own music and have played prestigious venues like The Vogue and the Railway Club.

QUICKNESS - With a love of punk rock, hip hop, reggae, and dub, Quickness delivers radio rock in all its post-hardcore glory. Their distinctive sound is rounded out by soaring melodies, vigorous riffage and a funk-fueled rhythm section.

The POST WAR is an alt rock quartet that manages to combine the vocal tone of Big Wreck with the saturation of A Perfect Circle while maintaining a truly unique sound and dynamic range all of their own. Working with producer Jeff Dawson (Daniel Powter) and mixer Mike Fraser (AC/DC), their debut video 'Piece By Piece' received rotation on MuchMusic and was recently licensed to CBS's Mad Love.
