Late show:
Toronto roots rock band The Warped 45s won the NXNE $10,000 fan choice award in 2009, bought a van and hit the road. Their debut full length CD "10 Day Poem for Saskatchewan " came out that September to critical acclaim, with songs like Radio Sky a favorite on Shore FM and Why oh Why on CBC Radio 2 Drive. The Warped 45s spent the winter recording with producer John Critchley (Dan Mangan/Elliott Brood). Their anticipated sophomore album Matador Sunset comes out May 31, 2011 and the Railway Club date is the official Vancouver record release show.
The Warped 45s are joined by friends John Jenkins' Small Town Revival, swinging mountain folk from Golden BC, also releasing their new record "Music From Home", and east coast ambient folk hero (from the band Caledonia) - Steve Gates, supporting The Warped 45s out west before playing the Dawson City Music Festival.
