. Friday, June 3rd IMU presents JENNA MACK Birthday Party w/ The DIXIE SYNCHOPATERS, FRIENDS OF 7 & NOTHING TO LOSE @ The Railway Club, 579 Dunsmuir . 9pm / $10 cover @ the door

JENNA MACK - has been performing live music on the West Coast since she was fifteen. Playing guitar and singing solo, fronting an island funk band (First Time Victor) and playing her first music festival in the summer of 2010, her music is an eclectic blend of folk, blues, rock and hobo jazz influenced by bands ranging from Radiohead to The Bee Gees.

FRIENDS OF 7 - blends British new wave with So-Cal post punk, covering a wide variety of styles ranging from riff rockers to acoustic ballads. High energy guitar, progressive bass lines and driving drums will leave you with their melodies in your mind.

The DIXIE SYNCHOPATERS specialize in raucous, romping, stomp-your-foot rhythms and swing music from the earlier part of the last century. This is a time machine ticket to 1927 you don't want to miss!

NOTHING TO LOSE - With very little planned and no fear of the crowd this funky quartet takes command at every show, laying down anything from funk to rock to blues all made up in front of your eyes... there's Nothing To Lose, so come and check it out!
