Event Archive - Late show:: Cinderpop, The Strange Magic, Edmonton Block Heater

Thu. May 26th 2011 Railway Club (No Minors)
$8 at the door only.

Edmonton Block Heater:
Help celebrate the release of their new album "Mars, Massachusetts" as Edmonton Block Heater serves up a damn tasty all-day breakfast of jangle and spank, stealing from all your favourite bands: Wilco, Jayhawks, Elvis Costello, John Hiatt... the coffee is strong and the bacon is greasy! You know you want it.
The Strange Magic:
The Strange Magic deliver a psychotropic blend of psychedelic pop that runs the gamut from juggernaut rock-outs to gossamer balladry and everything in between. The band has burned up the house with such notable acts as Os Mutantes, Pointed Sticks, Shonen Knife and even Susan Jacks!
Cinderpop are about to release their newest album with new material full of fun and hate and frolic while still retaining their mix of chiming guitars, infectious melodies and swirling harmonies.
Doors: 8:30 pm. $8
