d’bi.young.anitafrika’s performs works for the launch of her second print collection rivers and other blackness between us, just released by Women’s Press, which accompanies her latest dub poetry album of said title. It is a continuing poetic dialogue on the nature of love, particularly amongst diasporic African peoples. This new collection is a must-read for fans of dub poetry, feminist poetry, and post-colonial poetic forms – all dynamic parts of the global cultural landscape.
