Madness at the Railway w/ One Drop, The Furios, The Panic & Fuzzcat for Cinco de Mayo!

The FURIOS deliver an irresistible blend of ska, reggae, and catchy punk with solid, memorable vocals and empowering, danceable anthems that range from head bobbin' slow skanks to all out, full throttle, pedal-to-the-metal ska romps. Featuring a three piece horn section complemented by distinct songwriters and vocalists, The Furios shine the brightest when seen and heard live. The six piece band rocks, jumps, bumps and dances through set after set creating a party atmosphere that has made them a favorite with audiences. With 11 Canadian tours under their belt and dates on last year's Vans Warped Tour, The Furios have shared stages with The Real McKenzies, Fishbone, Bedouin Soundclash, The Planet Smashers, DOA, The Smugglers and many others.

ONE DROP plays reggae, punk, dancehall, dub and ska with an intensity that belies their punk rock roots. Raw, entertaing and unpredictable and played by a crew of seriously talented will pack the floor with deep dub and reggae and then turn it into an unplanned moshpit by dropping in to fast punk rock. Over the past 4 years, One Drop has gained friends and fans with 3 western canadian tours, countless weekends of insanity and appearances at The Victoria Jazz Festival, The Van Isle Punk Festival, and the Victoria Ska Festival. They have shared stages with acts like: The Slackers, The Black Halos, Warsaw Pack, Chris Murray, The Mad Caddies, The Aggrolites, The Kingpins, Kia Kadiri, The Toasters, The Allentons, The Rebel Spell and Yerba Buena.

The PANIC bring thumping tunes, sanded chaos, a dancefloor and somewhere to be lost. Damn fine dirty ska-rock with evil funk inflections and a dose of unabashed twang. The Panic isn't about shoe-gazing or chronic heartache, glitz or splashy effects. The lyrics spring neither from a well of bottomless rage nor from an unquenchable need to shed vain tears. Bring dancing shoes and a will to move... fuel those moments with great songs and the right attitude.

FUZZCAT - Assembling like the five lions of Voltron, Fuzzcat unified into a tight music-making machine bringing thick beats and ass-shakin' rawk. Influences include Manu Chao, The Clash, Public Enemy, Fela Kuti and anyone else that brings a tear to the eye or a beer to the lips. You never know who will sit in or whose clothes may be shed. If you like shaking your ass and banging your head, come work it out with Fuzzcat.
