Drug Metal from Vancouver BC
The first thing that anyone would notice first upon seeing the stage set up for HEZZAKYA is the monolithic stacks of Marshall and Ampeg amplifiers along the coolest drum set that they have ever laid their eyes on. This massive amount of gear will soon create the ever impressive wall of sound that is HEZZAKYA. The sound is so monstrous, you can literally feel your blood rumbling in your veins.
HEZZAKYA has made a name for themselves as being one of the new heavy hitters in the "too cool for school / hip scenester fuck" music scene of Vancouver by playing countless shows and winning over new fans one at a time by playing balls out, loud and proud rock n roll, in all of it its guitar laden, rhythmically pounding , glory.
With the inclusion of new vocalist Rob Krys' thrilling Cornellian vocal swordsmanship and bassist Brad White's tuned-in, toned-in bottom thump, the Mark-II lineup of Vancouver's finest stoner-rock ensemble (which also features powerhouse drummer Nat Green and the twin guitar attack of Mike Steiger and Devin McManus) has now made them a true West Coast force to be reckoned with.
