This is a great amp!

It's a Yorkville BassMaster XM-100 combo amp, which means it has an input for bass as well as additional inputs for guitar and stereo line-in, so a guitar and bass can jam together on the same amp, and even have a CD or MP3 player going into the line-in to play along with.

There's a master volume knob and three separate EQ knobs (Bass/Mid/Treble) so you can tune it for the perfect sound dynamics. It also has a "Scoop" knob, which I never really used but here's what the manual says about it: "The xm100's Scoop is an extremely helpful tone shaping control. It enables you to contour the overall depth (bottom end) and high-end presence of your sound."

There's an XLR output jack in case you want to route the output directly into a mixer for recording, and there's an output selector switch so you can send out the post-EQ sound or bypass the EQ + scoop and just feed the raw amped sound straight out into the mixer.

Another nice feature of this amp is the Effects Send/Return jacks. The Send jack sends the amplified signal into an effects processor before playing it on the main speaker, and the Return jack lets you return the processed effects.

This amp puts out 100w at 4 ohms and the 15" woofer gives a nice wide sound.

Full owner's manual here in case you need more details:

I'd consider trading for a half-decent drum kit (also might entertain other trade offers) - Thu, 28 Aug 2014 5:58pm
