Old Lass | It's true, the band Dizzy have built their own studio! I was there for thier grand opening, a great night was had by all, and the guys sounded awesome as usual. Check it out @ http://www.fullcirclestudios.ca - i guess if you want it done right, do it yourself...good on them. - Fri, 7 Feb 2003 8:00pm
Anonymous | Dizzy don't fuck around. - Mon, 24 Mar 2003 8:32pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Nice looking website, tho'. It's way cheaper running your own studio, cause you can experiment without the meter running, so to speak. - Tue, 25 Mar 2003 8:40am
D. | Way ta go! Great to see another place to choose from with rates even I can afford. But do you have any hot chicks coming through there I wonder? Nothing wrong with some nice scenery in between takes ya know! - Tue, 25 Mar 2003 9:30am
D. | By the way, when was their grand opening and how did I miss that? - Tue, 25 Mar 2003 9:35am
Anonymous | aren't dizzy hot enough chicks for ya? - Tue, 25 Mar 2003 11:48am
Anonymous | if you're going digital, might as well record it on your home pc. - Tue, 25 Mar 2003 12:03pm
memyselfi | I'd hire them just for the trained ear! - Tue, 25 Mar 2003 12:28pm
BBJones User Info... | That's nice to hear and all... but tell someone to get that fuckin' website finished! What good is advertising if all I get is "coming soon..."? - Tue, 25 Mar 2003 2:10pm
/////? | They did not promote the site. Someone else did. Obviously it is still being worked on. - Sat, 29 Mar 2003 5:36am
Goof | I can't stand these jobless web students that put down every site they go to because they THINK they can make a better one. Go ahead dickhead, make them a better site and do it for free and we'll all clap for you'll feel oh so much better. - Sat, 29 Mar 2003 6:13pm
Goof | Okay, I take that back. NOTHING works on this website except "contact us". (busy eating words now) - Sat, 29 Mar 2003 6:16pm
Anonymous | Dont lie. Dizzy didnt build it. They just get to record there. - Sun, 30 Mar 2003 12:48pm
Anonymous | Liar Liar Liar, embelishing the truth. - Sun, 30 Mar 2003 12:49pm
RSBF | DIZZY fully owns the studio and built it from scratch over a 14 month period - the place looks/sounds fricking GREAT. - Sun, 30 Mar 2003 5:59pm
I Know | Luckily some of the Dizzy boys are really into construction. I can vouch for what RSBF said. They DID IT ALL THEMSELVES and worked damn hard to get it just right! It's another example of a serious band "getting on with it"! Wishing them all the very best of luck... can't wait to hear the new CD! from a HUGE Dizzy fan! - Mon, 31 Mar 2003 8:06pm
Anonymous | From what I hear, some other guys built it, and only one member of Dizzy owns the place with that singer dude... whats his name.. Danny Deane? At least thats the story I got.. - Mon, 31 Mar 2003 8:17pm
Anonymous | Christer (singer in dizzy) and Darryl (soundguy extraordinaire and good friend of the band) own the studio 50% each. Danny Deane works there from what I know. - Mon, 31 Mar 2003 9:37pm
Anonymous | That sounds more realistic. - Mon, 31 Mar 2003 10:14pm
elliot | has anyone else noticed that the website contains no real information about the studio except for a few pictures? - Tue, 1 Apr 2003 8:21pm
Anonymous | hence the website is under serious construction, what part of that don't you get? - Tue, 1 Apr 2003 8:51pm
_Griphin_ User Info... | Wow, nice looking studio. Hey perhaps they've been so busy wiring the studio up that they haven't had much time to update the website. But yes, there should be more info there. That's cool, I thought it was a basement studio they were talking about, must of cost a lot of money to build. Let's hope they charge decent rates for studio time!!! - Thu, 3 Apr 2003 11:07pm
RSBF User Info... | the rates and 'creative financing' terms are mind blowing considering the amount of effort and the *quality* creative team you have behind the booth. call me biased if you will.... BUT the numbers and output certainly speak for themselves. demos, EP's, full length disks - ANY band could afford what they offer and be pleased with the output. toot! toot! p.s. you should really take a walk through that place - much attention to detail via art deco - reflective of the attention to detail in recording. definitely a labour of love ; ) - Thu, 3 Apr 2003 11:43pm
