A couple of months ago 17 local artists got together and submitted tracks for a David Chenery Tribute CD. Not because he's dead, but turned 30, so in a way - closer to dead than before. I've decided to post some of the songs. Though the CD is not available through retail it's a great CD including acts such as David P. Smith, Annie Nolan, Joey McDonald, Himalayan Bear, Scott Henderson and many more, with songs that range from humerous to totally depressing. Feel free to check out the tracks at http://www.selfrighteousrecords.com - Thu, 6 Jul 2006 1:19pm Edited: Thu, 6 Jul 2006 1:20pm

If it can't be purchased retail or ordered via your on-line shoppe where/when will it be available?

I gave the sound bites a listen. Very cool indeed. Henderson and David P are people I admire very much, so I like to buy stuff that has them on it for sure.

I remember hearing chenery do some awesome covers for David P's own tribute show at logans. Thats the kind of thing I like about the west coast music scene.... - Fri, 7 Jul 2006 3:00pm Edited: Fri, 7 Jul 2006 8:51pm
