I've been listening to Big Business pretty much religiously since the CD came out (it's former KARP and MURDER CITY DEVILS members).
The CD "Head for the Shallow" which I think is their only release is so amazing. The vocals are much like the vocals in Karp, melodic somewhat, and really aggressive...hard to explain, and the music is mainly a bass guitar and drum assult with some guitars here and there and random noises.
I just saw them live as well, which is equally as amazing, just in a different way. The drummer live is mind blowing...definaly one of the best drummers I've EVER seen live.
The CD and live show is so worth checking out. Anyone with me on this??? - Wed, 10 Aug 2005 8:24pm

I agree fully. The riffs are huge on this album, along with the bass tone! Was this show with Kayo Dot and Pelican as well? - Wed, 10 Aug 2005 9:23pm

A friend of mine sent me this disc to listen to, and it is thick, meaty and full of surprises.

I was/am/will be interested in the tricks and dances they fabricate in their songs; it's got that full, round, warm heavy sound I love.

The only Big Business I can support is this one. - Sat, 20 Aug 2005 1:57am
