Atreyu have mastered the art of emo/hard-core fusion. Their first disc Suicide Note and Butterfly Kisses sold like a trillion copies (about 120,000) and Victory Records put a few bucks in The Curse. Everything you liked about Suicide Notes remains on The Curse but the production is remarkably better.

Lots of breakdowns for you kids with the senseitive ears and sing-a-longs. Lots of punchy screaming and wailing guitars. I liked Suiside very much and The Curse is just that album only better. I give it 16 Drams.

nik is just so much cooler than me, it makes me want to cry, then write a song about it. Nik's post was so eMO.
