Hello people.

There's probably about a 0.0000001% chance that I'll find out anything, but here goes.

I lived in Vancouver from '88 to '99.

There was one occasion, back around 1990 or so (I think), when I happened to be downtown after midnight. And I stopped to listen to a pair of buskers, just outside the entrance to the Granville Street station.

Two young women. One had a guitar, the other had a violin, and they sang in beautiful harmony. Folksy stuff. Not really the style I'm into, but they were very, very good at what they did.

I had to stop and just stand there with my eyes closed and let the music wash over me. They were that good.

(Yes, of course I paid them some money.)

Scrawled on the guitar case were the words "Two Shades of Grey". Maybe that's what they called themselves. I don't know.

So ... Does anyone out there know what happened to those two?

Are they still playing music?

Maybe they were just working their way through university, and now they're both doctors or engineers or something.

Who knows? - Sun, 14 May 2017 2:55pm
