Cory is originally from Meadow Lake Saskatchewan and earned a Bachelors degree in violin from McGill and a Masters degree from Rice University. He is a member of the Victoria Symphony and the Galiano Ensemble. He has participated in the Shaw festival, the Charlottetown Festival and Les Jeune Virtuose Montreal. Cory has performed with Kenji Fuse in the quartet 'Strung Out' performing arrangements of early 1980's rock songs.
