Katabatik Soundsystem

The Katabatik Soundsystem is a 4K system capable of delivering potent sonics for both indoor and outdoor settings. Based around the unique pyramidal design of the PYRLABS (of Anchorage, Alaska) subwoofers, the system is mobile and available for events in North America, along with a crew of experienced technicians and otherworldly live performers. Since the year 2000, the system has been an integral part of the annual Autonomous Mutant Festival, and the Caltech "Drop Day" Parties. Currently we are developing systems integrating MIDI and sound controlled lights and projections, to enhace the immersive synaesthetic effect of the live experience.
