About

Cheap Suit Big Tie

Inspired by the 'novelty' and 'territory bands of the 1920s & 1930s, the Cheap Suit Big Tie band is tailored to please and entertain. Diverse instrumentation and a penchant for rhythm are the threads that bind this bands verve and sound, rooted in nascent jazz & blues but as urban and classy as a well-formed 'four-in-hand'.

The musical repertoire and presentation of Cheap Suit Big Tie runs deep through jazz & blues traditions, moving seamlessly to original and modern tunes written by members of the band, a veritable wardrobe of style and panache. The band cuts a rug. All sharped up, dig these gates' drape 'cause it's all jake, Jack... totoally in the pocket.
