Dub Lounge International's live show is as rootsy as they come. Ranging from original dancehall grooves to solid old school standards, guest vocalists are often invited to accompany their sultry 3-part harmony driven set. With a dub improv mentality and melodic meditative creations, DLI's music empowers listeners and musicians alike.
Friday Dec 9th at Neumo's they are celebrating their latest and 4th release, "2011 Live Compilation". Recorded from concerts over the past year, this album showcases a special San Diego 4/20 Concert, a KEXP live in-studio, and a Long Beach, CA performance.
DLI members have backed up such artists as Prezident Brown, Lutan Fyah, Pablo Moses, Rankin' Scroo, Winston Jarrett, Aima Moses, Norris Man, Ras Shilo, Clinton Fearon, Wadi Gad, and have shared the stage with Midnite, Dezire, the Itals, Fishbone, Buju Banton, Black Uhuru, Jimmy Cliff, Inner Circle, Groundation, Yami Bolo and Israel Vibration.
