Morphing will focus on the cross pollination of sounds occurring in breaks-oriented music at the present moment. This night focuses on hip hop, rock, two-step, and jazz-infused techno. Artists were chosen based on the movement and transformations occurring within their specific style. Band/Group/Individual/Sampling formations complementing live usages of instruments, hardware, and the voice, is central to Morphing. This year we look to a cross-section of artists to bring us different genres, styles and influences.
