MAKE THE LION - Formerly known as Avatar, this band had audiences moving with rhythm-driven songs that dazzled and energized. Their versatile music falls somewhere between Radiohead and Nirvana, with touches of Sonic Youth and Pink Floyd. Be sure to catch the band in their newest incarnation as they play brand new tunes for your listening pleasure.

The PAINTED BIRDS - Formerly known as Spark That Screams, their innovative wall-to-wall sound garnered them comparisons to Radiohead and Godspeed You Black Emperor. Crafting psychedelic rock infused with electronica and a unique combination of theremin, flute, cello, and sequencer, be sure to catch the band's new sound in their newest incarnation!

ELIAS delivers a stellar mix of dark, moody vocal melodies, original guitar riffs and haunting keyboards, "making the kind of pulsating, loud rock that the Mars Volta or Radiohead might approve of in equal turns" according to, who recently ranked them as one of 8 must-hear bands from Vancouver.

SHUKOV - One of Vancouver's most promising new bands, Shukov brings their spacious, tension-filled, darkly ethereal art rock to enthusiastic audiences around the Lower Mainland in preparation for their forthcoming CD.
