Event Description

Sat, Apr 30th IMU and the GVMA present JUKEBOX HEROES Rolling Stones Tribute Night for Covenant House Vancouver . 7pm / $10

Vancouver artists are uniting once again to pay tribute to the musical glory of the Rolling Stones, with proceeds going to Covenant House Vancouver! http://www.covenanthousebc.org . Past Jukebox Heroes events have raised over $5000 for worthy causes such as the David Suzuki Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Vancouver Food Bank, Red Cross and UNICEF Tsunami Relief Funds. Be sure to catch this special evening of classic Rolling Stones songs performed by more than a dozen talented local bands and artists!

Covenant House Vancouver exists for young people aged 16 - 24 who have willingly fled physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse or have been forced from their homes. Covenant House relies on the generosity of individuals and organizations to provide shelter, food, clothing and counselling to over 2,300 young people each year.
